Hayden Leslie Panettiere http://adf.ly/CG8Ag (born August 21, 1989) is an American actress and singer. Hayden plays the character Claire Bennet on the NBC television program Heroes. The advertising campaign and slogan for the program known as "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" has helped make Panettiere famous.

Panettiere began modeling at the age of five months. She then began appearing in commercials at 11 months, first appearing in an advertisement for Playskool.[6] She landed a role as Sarah Roberts on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live (1994- 1997) and later as Lizzie Spaulding on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light when she was seven years old (1996 - 2000). While on Guiding Light, Panettiere's character Lizzie battled leukemia. The show received a Special Recognition Award from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for bringing national awareness of the disease to the attention of daytime viewers.

Panettiere appears as Claire Bennet in the NBC series Heroes as a high school cheerleader with regenerative healing powers. Due to her role on Heroes, she became a regular on the science fiction convention circuit, invited to attend conventions around the world in 2007, including GenCon, New York Comic-Con and Fan Expo Canada. In regard to the roles she has played, Panettiere admitted that options are sometimes limited because "people look at [her] as either the 'popular cheerleader' type or just 'the blonde'."

She has appeared in over a dozen full-length feature films, as well as several made-for-TV movies. She provided the voice for Dot in the Pixar CGI animated movie A Bug's Life.[9] She also played the role of Coach Yoast's daughter, Sheryl, in the 2000 Disney film Remember The Titans. In addition, she appeared as the voice of Kairi in the Kingdom Hearts series of video games for the Playstation 2. Panettiere appeared on FOX's Ally McBeal as Ally McBeal's daughter, and had a recurring guest role on Malcolm in the Middle and guest starred in Law & Order: SVU. She starred in Bring It On: All or Nothing as a cheerleader and had a supporting role as Adelaide Bourbon in the recently released independent film Shanghai Kiss. She also appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Tiger Cruise playing the main role of a Navy brat. She also stared in Raising Helen, as the adolescant neice.

She appeared in the drama film Fireflies in the Garden as a younger version of Emily Watson's character, Jane Lawrence. In June 2007, she signed with the William Morris Agency, after previously being represented by United Talent Agency. Forbes estimated that she earned $2 million in 2007.

In early 2007, Panettiere appeared on the syndicated Ashton Kutcher-produced show, Punk'd. The appearance was engineered by her mother and involved a male "fan" discussing her work with her, instigating a jealous reaction from the man's spouse.

Curly haired , sandy-voiced actress Mary Steenburgen is a natural when it comes to playing Southerners, probably because she hails from the region herself. Born in Arkansas on February 8, 1953, Steenburgen was the daughter of a railroad employee.
Pursuing drama in college, she headed to New York in 1972,... where she worked with an improvisational troupe. She was spotted by Jack Nicholson, who cast her as his feisty "in name only" frontier wife in 1978's Goin' South. Two years later, she won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance as Melvin Dummar's inamorata in Melvin and Howard (1980). Able to convey a wide age and character range, Steenburgen was effectively cast as a free-spirited Frisco girl in Time After Time (1979), the corseted matriarch of a turn-of-the-century household in Ragtime (1981), prim authoress Marjorie Rawlins in Cross Creek (1983), a long-suffering suburban housewife in Parenthood (1989), and a Marcia Clark-like attorney in Philadelphia (1993).

She also portrayed the Jules Verne-loving Western schoolmarm Clara in Back to the Future 3 (1990), a role she perpetuated (via voice-over) on the Back to the Future TV cartoon series. In 1988, she was executive producer of End of the Line, in which she also appeared. Steenburgen's film appearances throughout the 1990s were erratic: some highlights, in addition to Philadelphia, include What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), Nixon (1995), and The Grass Harp (1995). In 1999, she starred as Noah's wife in the biblical epic Noah's Ark, sharing the screen with the likes of Jon Voight, F. Murray Abraham, James Coburn, and Carol Kane. Formerly married for several years to actor Malcolm McDowell, Steenburgen married former Cheers star Ted Danson in 1995. The two have collaborated on a number of projects, including 1994's Pontiac Moon and the made-for-TV Gulliver's Travels in 1996. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
Taylor Swift isn't looking for love. The 19-year-old singer - who previously dated Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas - is confident romance will strike when she least expects it.She said: "I don't look for boyfriends. I don't really scour the awards shows for who I'm going to date, but I think love happens when you're not looking for it, and when it happens, I'm not going to be the one to over think it."

The 'Love Story' star insists she doesn't care what her prospective partners do or how they affect her career, and she would never use her relationships for publicity. She added: "When you strategise a relationship too much, like, 'We're not going to be public about it, and we're going to say this in interviews,' when you think it all out, I think that complicates the relationship. I think that's unfair for the relationship."

Taylor also quashed rumours of rivalry with fellow teen stars Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, insisting they are lucky as their careers allow them to be friends. She explained: "I've always approached this from the place where I don't compete with other girls. I don't compete with other people in the industry, I compete with myself. If I looked at every other girl in the entertainment industry as competition, my life would be really lonely."I wouldn't have some of the coolest friends that I'm so glad I've gotten to know over the last couple of years. It's really awesome to get to hang out with those girls and to call them friends."

Angelina Jolie has written a new article for Time magazine, calling for more action to end the crisis in Darfur. On Friday, members of the United Nations Security Council will learn the results of the International Criminal Court's Darfur investigation.

"The evidence the prosecutor has presented is clear and compelling," Jolie writes, pointing out that "millions of people have been displaced" and "hundreds of thousands have been killed."Jolie recalls her first trip to Chad to visit refugees from Darfur in 2004.

Since then, she sadly notes, "nothing changed."Despite the Bush administration labeling the Darfur situation as "genocide," Jolie says the words have not "compelled us to intervene."Says the actress (who turned 36 Thursday): "Darfur has almost disappeared from the news, and experts now call it a 'low intensity" conflict.' But the intensity of the crisis has not lessened for those who are struggling to survive."

"More than 250,000 people from Darfur have lived destitute lives in refugee camps in Chad for six years now," says the mother of six. "Camps with more than two million internally displaced persons inside Darfur are even worse. Thirty percent of those displaced are school-age children. Girls leaving the camps are raped; boys leaving the camps are killed. They want an education; they want to go back to their villages, to their land; they want peace. But they also want justice."

Hills star Heidi Pratt has been rushed to a Costa Ric an hospital with an undisclosed medical emergency, Us magazine.com has learned exclusively.

Pratt's husband, Spencer -- who is competing with his wife on N BC's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here -- is traveling with her to the hospital, a source in Costa Rica confirms.
No further details have been made available as to the specifics of Heidi's condition or what it means for the series.

I've been hearing loud whispers (an oxymoron, I realize) that costars Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf are dating. Okay, maybe Megan and Shia are not dating, but it's very possible that they're hooking up offscreen.
What about Megan's tumultuous romance with Brian Austin Green?
Recently, the tabloids went wild when Megan's car was seen parked outside of
Just days after her ex Jim Carrey was spotted canoodling with his new brunette, Jenny McCarthy and her smokin' bikini bod hit the beach with her new buff man candy Jason Toohey in Miami.

Maybe Jenny McCarthy is just out to spite Jim Carrey with a new love of her own, but I must say the sexy mom looks better now than when she was first a Playmate. Cool!
Hollywood celebrity Angelina Jolie has been turned into a comic book heroine.

The graphic novel called Female Force: Angelina Jolie, written by Brent Sprecher, tells the story of the sexy mom's rise to fame, her experiences raising six children and serving as a goodwill ambassador for the UN, reports imdb.com.

"I learned a great deal about her struggles and triumphs as an award-winning actress, mother and humanitarian," said Sprecher.

The book will hit shelves in January 2011.
Jessica Alba will play a prostitute in her upcoming movie “The Killer Inside Me”.

The sexy mom has some very steamy bed scenes with Casey Affleck who plays a bored small-town deputy sheriff but things took a scary turn when he turns into a ruthless, sociopathic murderer.

Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson portray a prostitute and Lou’s girlfriend respectively.
“The Killer Inside Me” gets limited release in the US in June, 2010.

I have a soft spot for thrillers, and with Jessica Alba starring in it, I guess the flick is worth a watch.
Speaking to Access Hollywood about Gervais' bruising and controversial evening hosting the Globes, Lopez said that Gervais was gutsy -- but she was more so.

"He's very gutsy, it takes a lot of guts to get up there and make the comments he made and go for that type of comedy," she said. "I'm sure in his mind it was all in good fun. But in the room, being in the room it was like, eek... Then, when I go backstage to present, I'm backstage with Alec [Baldwin], we're about to walk out, and Ricky shows up. I say, 'Listen! I will kill you, you understand, I am from New York, my husband fights, we both fight, we will beat you up after the show... with a couple of bleep bleeps in there."

Gervais assured Lopez that she'd like the joke, and in the end, she didn't mind his joke, or being made fun of in general.

Overall, she thinks he did an alright job, but perhaps went a little bit below the belt. Not that Gervais cares -- he's not returning to host next year, anyway.

The story broke last week, but Kim didn't hear about it until Wednesday, when she was taping a segment for 'Today' about her new reality series, 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

The pregnancy rate at Frayser High is 26 percent, although the Memphis City Schools Superintendent claims it has swelled in part because pregnant students are drawn to the school because it has programs in place to help them.

Whether or not these girls were influenced by 'Teen Mom,' the stars of the MTV hit show make upwards of $60,000 per season - enough for a boob job in one instance.

Kim recalls her high school days, when she was still crying over her early-blooming body.
While Halle Berry seems to be getting serious with Olivier Martinez, her ex-husband Eric Benet has done some settling down of his own.

The musician, 44, whose divorce from Berry was finalized six years ago, proposed to Manuela Testolini in November with an antique diamond ring he designed, Benet confirms to PEOPLE.

"During a romantic dinner I decided to finally let Manuela hear 'Never Want to Live Without You,' a song off my new album that I had written for her," Benet says. "I sang it to her, then got down on one knee and proposed."

Manuela, an entrepreneur and founder of the charity In A Perfect World, was formerly married to Prince. She has been dating Benet for three years.

The wedding is set for this summer.

The 46-year-old reality star of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" was checked into rehab by her family at the end of the show's shocking season finale on Thursday night.

The painful decision was made after Kim and her sister, Kyle, got into a booze-fueled war of words at fellow castmate Taylor Armstrong's birthday party. The shouting match initially started between Taylor and Kim over a previous fight the women had during a trip to New York.

The women eventually retreat back to their limo, where Kim calls Kyle a "f--king phony" while Kyle accuses Kim of being "delusional" and "demented."

She tops it off with "You are a liar ... [and] you are an alcoholic! Yeah, that's right. I've said it now, and everybody knows. "The fight continued to escalate with Kyle claiming her husband sends Kim, a single mom, money every month.

"You are so sick. My husband has helped you every month and stood by you and taken care of you, okay, like you're his second f--king wife!"

The show ended with Kyle storming the limo telling her sister that she's on her own. A written banner then announced Kim was checked into rehab by her family, then checked herself out a week later, and that the sisters have not spoken to each other since the blowout.

On the show's blog, Kyle said she would not divulge what happened after the vicious fight because it's Kim's "story to tell." "My heart was broken and I suffered an incredible amount of anxiety and panic attacks," wrote Kyle. "Next to losing my mother, this was the most difficult time of my life."

Amanda Seyfried is one of my favorite young actresses in Hollywood right now. I’ve been a big fan of her work since Mean Girls and love that she’s finally starting to get some of the attention she deserves. While it’s true that I didn’t really care for ‘Dear John’ or ‘Letters to Juliet’, they got her name out there and got people looking at her as a realistic leading lady. I think she has real talent which she gets to really put on display in Big Love. While I’m sad to see the show ending, I’m excited to see where Amanda’s career takes her. I am disheartened, however, to see her getting mixed up with notorious womanizer Ryan Phillippe. Hopefully things work out better for her with him than they did for Reese Witherspoon and Abbie Cornish.
Kristen Stewart has no beef with the Man of Steel. Despite reports that the actress turned down the role of Lois Lane in the 2012 Superman film, her rep tells PEOPLE there was never any discussion about her playing the part.

"There are a number of fabricated stories circulating," says the rep. "The fact is that she has not met on this film nor has she been approached for this film."

Stewart will next be seen in the drama On the Road and will reprise her role as Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and 2.

The 18-year-old singer-actress now has a dream catcher inked on her torso, a friend close to Cyrus tells PEOPLE.

"It's a picture of the dream catcher that hangs over her bed with four feathers to represent her four brothers and sisters," says the friend. (Miley's siblings are Brandi, 23, Trace, 21, Braison, 16, and Noah, 11.) "The dream catcher is to protect them."

That brings Cyrus's current tattoo tally up to five.

She also has a heart and a small cross on her fingers, the word 'love" on her ear and the phrase "just breathe" on her rib cage in honor of a close friend who died of cystic fibrosis.

"All of Miley's tattoos have a deep meaning to her," says the friend. "They all represent family and friends close to her."

Halle Berry's latest movie was supposed to be the big-budget romantic comedy New Year's Eve – but for the actress and her ex, Gabriel Aubry, the feel-good film may have been the final straw in their already-strained custody arrangement over their 2 ½-year-old daughter Nahla.

According to a source close to Berry, the actress's movie contract included compensation for Aubry to accompany her and Nahla to New York City for about two weeks of filming. But when Aubry decided not to go, says the source, Berry was forced to abruptly pull out of the film. She has since been replaced by Katherine Heigl.

Berry, 44, who has a nanny, currently shares custody of Nahla with Aubry. She pulled out of the New Line production not because she wouldn't have childcare help but because she was concerned about leaving Nahla in L.A. while she filmed in N.Y.C., claims the source.

In an uber-revealing, uber-melodramatic interview in GQ, the country star blames "Hannah Montana" and the evils of Hollywood for tearing his family apart.

"I'll tell you right now -- the damn show destroyed my family," he tells the magazine. "And I sit there and I go, 'Yeah, you know what? Some gave all.' It is my motto, and guess what? I have to eat that one. I some gave-all'd it all right. I some-gave all'd it while everybody else was going to the bank. It's all sad."

When asked whether he viewed his family as under attack by Satan, the God-fearing singer and showbiz dad responds: "I think we are right now. No doubt. There's no doubt about it. ... There has always been a battle between good and evil. Always will be. You think, 'This is a chance to make family entertainment, bring families together ... ' and look what it's turned into."

MEGAN FOX and JON HAMM were photographed on the slopes at the Mt. Peter ski resort in Warwick, New York this week, reports the UK's Daily Mail. 24-year-old Fox was snapped with her hair rollers in as she filmed scenes for her forthcoming movie 'Friends With Kids. The actress was layered up in skiing attire as she and JON HAMM chatted with the movie's director JENNIFER WESTFELDT, who is also Hamm's partner of over 13 years.

Despite filming most of her own stunts for the first two Transformers films and the comic book inspired action movie 'Jonah Hex', Fox wasn't required to film any actions scenes this week and shot most of her parts on the flat. The comedy movie, which has been filming in the Bronx for the past couple of weeks, is set to be released sometime in early 2012. The film revolves around a pair of thirty-something best friends who begin to notice the toll that having kids has taken on the couples they know. ADAM SCOTT and KRISTEN WIIG also star in the move, as does the British actor CHRIS O'DOWD.

Once filming on 'Friends With Kids' is complete, Fox will begin work on the forthcoming drama 'The Crossing', which follows the story of a young couple who get caught up in a drug trafficking scheme during a holiday to Mexico.
Megan Fox has said the comparison to Angelina Jolie is "a lack of creativity on the media's part," but the similarities are hard to miss. For one, the edgy stars both love leather! Jolie wore a form-fitting strapless black leather Michael Kors dress on the red carpet earlier this month, and Fox wore braved an all-leather ensemble on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in sweltering New Mexico.

The Baby singer is surrounded by a team of advisers and managers throughout most of his average day, and looks forward to having a little time to reflect.

“I guess I’m fine with being by myself. I’m a very independent person, so I don’t really get lonely. I don’t get much time to myself,” he said.

“I work a lot, but at night time, that’s basically my down time when I get to just lay in bed, play on my computer, check twitter and all that. I never get to feel anonymous anymore, not really.”

The 16-year-old teen sensation relies on his mother, Pattie Mallette, and music mentor Usher to keep him “grounded” while traveling across the world on tour, and being surrounded by teenage fans almost everywhere he goes.

“I have some great people on my team that keep me grounded, my mum is always with me and they keep me sane, and Usher has been there, so he knows, he helps keep me sane,” he said.

In the movie – which opened in theaters Friday – McAuliffe, 16, plays a geeky, gawky high school kid with an obsession with aliens. But before you catch the film, meet the Sydney native who's already wrapped two major studio films.

1. He never expected to become an actor
Paging Doctor McAuliffe? The rising star says that before he made it onto the big screen, science was his favorite school subject. "I originally envisioned myself doing something with the suffix 'ology' at the end of it, like marine biology or entomology," McAuliffe tells PEOPLE. "But after I started to do some acting gigs, I thought it wasn't a bad thing … I said to myself, 'I might as well keep riding this bus until the wheels fall off.' "

2. He has a musical ear.
The talent continues: McAuliffe says that although he can't read music, he can play it by ear. "I can play songs that I hear from a movie and just play it a few times on the keyboard," he says. "I will hit all the notes on the keyboard until I find the right key, and then I will play the rest of the song." Besides the piano, McAuliffe can also play the guitar, banjo and the drums.

3. But don't expect to see him on Glee.
His costar Agron hits all the right notes on the Fox series – and that's the way it should stay, McAuliffe says. "I think I would be more embarrassed than anything if I had to sing on television," he says. "I guess if I was invited onto the show, I could play the banjo and sit in the corner and let Dianna do the singing. She's amazing."

4. Is he the next Karate Kid?
The young actor is learning martial arts to perfect his mind, body and soul – and to learn some kick-butt moves for future action roles. "You leave feeling really powerful, and you want to go find some random person and ask, 'Hey, can you grab my wrist – I want to show you something,' " he says with a laugh. And you wouldn't want to mess with McAuliffe in a back alley: "I can run up a wall and do a back flip – that's the most impressive thing that I can do."

 5. Chores come first.
No maid, no problem – even with a budding Hollywood career. "I do chores around the house, but I don't get an allowance for them," McAuliffe says. "I wash the dishes and sweep the floor … I'm sweeping the floor quite a lot, and my mum always expects me to get a broom and swagger it across the floor all the time."

ANGELINA Jolie is planning to undergo risky plastic surgery in a bid to regain her youthful looks — sources say.

According to American tabloid the National Enquirer, Jolie – who raises six children with partner Brad Pitt – was humiliated when a survey revealed women prefer the looks of more youthful actresses, so is desperate to go under the knife for a major makeover.

“Angelina is freaked out. She’s convinced that she’s losing her looks, and she will take drastic measures ASAP,” a source said.

“It is as if Angie’s made this surgery her number one priority and views it practically as a full-fledged emergency. She knows exactly what she wants done and despite the fact that there will be excruciating pain, she’s plowing ahead.

“She wants a mini face-lift that includes a neck-lift to reduce her saggy jowls.

“She also wants to smooth out the creases in her neck, and she intends to get fat grafts to fill in age lines and plump up her face. To finish off her makeover, Angie wants upper eyelid surgery to lift her droopy eyelids.

“Angie wants to smooth out a bump on her nose and make it look more refined. She’s always complained her nose is too large.

“Angelina can’t stand the thought of losing her standing as Hollywood’s greatest beauty.

“She’s convinced her career will start to slide and the only answer is a drastic facial makeover.

“Despite the risks and Brad’s worry, Angelina is forging ahead with the secret surgical makeover.

Former governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee claims the 29-year-old actress — who is expecting her and her fiance Benjamin Millepied’s first child together — is giving a “distorted” image of parenthood because she can afford to look after a child on her own, while many other American single mothers could not do the same.

“One of the things that’s troubling is that people see a Natalie Portman or some other Hollywood starlet who boasts of, ‘Hey look, you know, we’re having children, we’re not married, but we’re having these children,’ and they’re doing just fine,” Mike said.

“But there aren’t really a lot of single moms out there who are making millions of dollars every year for being in a movie. And I think it gives a distorted image that yes, not everybody hires nannies, and caretakers, and nurses. Most single moms are very poor, uneducated, can’t get a job, and if it weren’t for government assistance, their kids would be starving to death and never have health care.”

Natalie ––who picked up an Oscar for her portrayal of psychologically troubled ballet dancer Nina Sayers in Black Swan last weekend – is believed to be expecting a boy.

“They’ve only told a very small group of family members and friends that they’re expecting a son. They are so excited. Benjamin cannot wait to be a father,” a source said.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Harry Potter has cast his biggest spell yet with a record-breaking first day at the box office.

Distributor Warner Bros. reports that “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” summoned up $92.1 million domestically on opening day Friday.

That’s nearly $20 million more than the previous record-holder, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” which took in $72.7 million in its first day two years ago.

The finale of the “Harry Potter” saga also set a record for midnight screenings with $43.5 million. That topped “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which pulled in about $30 million in its first midnight shows last year.

Box-office tracker Hollywood.com projected Saturday that “Deathly Hallows: Part 2” also could break the opening-weekend record of $158.4 million domestically held by “The Dark Knight.”

I Lost 29 lbs with this amazing system!

Hi everyone, my name is Jessica Wright and I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio. I decided to write this blog first as a journal for my personal use, but then decided to post it publicly. If my journey and story helps just one person it will be gratifying. Before I tell you about my success of losing 29lbs in a short timeframe, I think it is important for you to first know a little bit about me and my life.

Like so many other people, it starts with me having my first child. When I had my first son, I was sure the baby weight would come off. Months went by, and I was still holding onto an extra twenty pounds that would not go away. By the time I had my daughter, I was forty pounds overweight, and I didn't have a plan to take the weight off. The problem was always in the back of my mind, but it finally became something I had to address.

I was doing some last minute clothes shopping to get ready for summer, and nothing fit. I had to keep going out in the store for bigger sizes. When did I become that size? I couldn't help but wonder when I gained so much weight. Suddenly I knew I had to do something. I didn't know where to turn, I had tried all the "brand-name" diets like Atkins, South Beach, Raw Food and on and on...
